What It’s About: Tom Reagan (Gabriel Byrne) finds his loyalty to crime boss Leo (Albert Finney) tested during a gang war in the 1930s.

Why Watch it Today?: Albert Finney was born today in 1936  Finney’s long career has seen him play everything from angry young men to Scrooge and everything in between.  Here he plays an aging crime lord who is not all that he seems to be in one of the Cohen Brothers’ best movies.
