    new yorker film critic pauline kael compared this movie to CLOCKWORK ORANGE..!

    “New Detroit”…ie a Detroit of mostly whites!

    Right now there’s the slow, beurocratic near sci-fi of shrinking old Detroit, of tearing down whole slum neighborhoods on the outskirts, and letting them revert to forests. True.
