What It’s About: Student filmmakers investigating a bear poacher discover Norway’s best kept secret:  trolls are real, and one man (Otto Jespersen) monitors them, keeps them within their protected areas and, when he must, destroys them.

Why Watch it Today?:   Judiciously edited footage of Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg admitting to the existence of trolls, from a press conference that took place on June 25th, 2010, is worked into the end of the film.  Trollhunter is one of the better recent entries into the “Found Footage” horror genre, with a great sense of humor, a great character in the troll hunter, beautiful scenery and excellent use of folklore.
