What It’s About: When saboteurs sink a British intelligence ship with the latest coding device off the coast of Greece, James Bond (Roger Moore) becomes involved in intrigue surrounding the salvage operations.  Can he recover the device before the Soviets?

Why Watch it Today?: The 41st annual FIS Alpine World Ski Championships end today.  For Your Eyes Only is partly set during the Winter Olympics, and features a spectacular chase through the many skiing events.  For Your Eyes Only is Roger Moore’s most down-to-Earth, and best, Bond film, with an excellent supporting cast and solid action.

    carole bouqet, with her long hair, is also in this bond movie….20 years later, with her hair short, she’s in RED LIGHTS, though only for a few minutes; a french thriller in which her drunken husband picks up a hitch hiker with typical bad results.

      Definitely remiss in leaving Boquet off the cast list, as she was one of the most beautiful Bond girls and a childhood crush.
