What It’s About: Misfit ant Flik (Dave Foley) recruits a band of “warriors” to defend his colony against the grasshoppers who demand a tribute each year.  When the warriors turn out to be an insect circus troupe, will there be time to figure out a plan to defeat the grasshoppers?

Why Watch it Today?:  Today is St. Uhro’s Day, which honors the Finnish Saint who drove the grasshoppers out of Finland-or at least so said the Finnish American Minnesotans who  created him as a prank in the 1950s.  So put on your royal purple and watch this Pixar take on The Seven Samurai.
