What It’s About: Theater director Lloyd Fellowes (Michael Caine) attempts to keep a crew of difficult actors going through a low-end farcical production despite everyone’s egos, personality conflicts, romantic entanglements, and substance issues.

Why Watch it Today?: Christopher Reeve, who died today in 2004, was best known for playing Superman, but he was also wonderful in comedic films as a straight man, and Noises Off… features him at his best in this kind of role, as part of fantastic ensemble cast.
