What It’s About: Something is flying around Manhattan and snatching sunbathers, window washers and construction workers from the tops of buildings. Detectives Shepard (David Carradine) and Powell (Richard Roundtree) investigate the deaths and disappearances as well as a series of murders in which the victims were skinned alive. Safe cracker and getaway car driver Jimmy Quinn (Michael Moriarty) learns the secret to behind both investigations when a diamond robbery he’s forced into goes horribly wrong and he takes refuge in the Chrysler Building. Will Quinn do the right thing and let the authorities know? Will Shepard and Powell figure out the connection between the murders and the beast?
