Why Watch it Today?: Famed director Raoul Walsh was born today in 1887.  Walsh’s career began in the early teens and included acting and writing as well as directing.  Today’s film features the iconic scene with Cagney on top of a burning tower, yelling “Made it Ma. Top of the world.”
